Can from tfontana, thanks for the trade.
Hazy lemon yellow with a thing bubbly white head that persists.
tropical citrus and hints of earth and light pine with some sweet bready maltiness to counter.

From a 16 oz. can sample on July 17 2021.

A cloudy but not really hazy looking yellow-amber tone underneath a lingering off-white head.

The aroma brings out notes of tangerine, orange juice, blossoms, and a lower profile cereal grain.

Medium, smooth body,

The taste begins sweet and bready until the juicy and floral hops kick in and linger at the finish. Nothing in your face all around. Reasonably balanced given the style.

Poured into a 16 oz Nordic pint glass canned I am thinking 6/29/21. Pours a hazy orange yellow with a finger sticky white head that leaves plenty of thin streaks of lace with nice retention. 4.25

Aroma is slightly spicy tropical fruit, mandarin, papaya, peach, apricot, and pink grapefruit rind. 4.25

Taste follows again not sure if spicy or sharp is the proper word but the fruit hits the palate immediately mandarin, papaya, peach, dried apricot, and a little grapefruit bitterness really well balanced, but rather aggressive for only 7%. 4.25

Mouthfeel is bigger than average, fairly soft carbonation, maybe a tad dry for the style, and it goes down rather easy. 4.25

Overall this might be a tad green meaning in a few a few weeks it may mello a bit and soften up a bit. Still very nice Amarillo and Citra hops. I recommend it for sure. 4.25

From a 16oz can, undated. Purchased at the brewery on 06/25/21 at the truly unconscionable price of $5 a can. There’s a sucker born every minute… hello! Served in a spiegelau-style IPA glass.

Pours a glowing, semi-opaque, hazy orange with two fingers of head. Retention is excellent, leaving a sudsy cap and a tattered curtain of thick, bubbly lacing.

Nose is sharp and juicy. Orange slices, orange peel, cupcakes, solvent.

Taste follows on with the nose: bitter, oily orange peel, bergamot, orange solvent. Tasting canned pineapple and vanilla cupcake, too, but the bitter orange character dominates. Can notes tell me to taste tangerine so, OK, I guess I can taste tangerine - no, I take that back; it’s definitely oily orange peel and bergamot. Juicy up front but ending with a smidge of drying, resinous, turpy pine sap and a sour booze aftertaste.

Feel starts clean and juicy but finishes a tad harsh, solventy and drying. Medium bodied but with bright, zesty carbonation making it feel lighter.

Overall, a decent enough NEIPA, albeit with some rough edges, and a stupidly indefensible price point.
