16oz undated can.

Pours cloudy yellow with an inch-plus head of dense white head. Persistent retention with plenty of spongy lacing. Apricots, pineapple, peach in the nose. Medium bodied with a soft mouthfeel. Candied peach, mango, pear, apricots on the palate with minimal malt or bitterness. Finishes very juicy and tropical.

Deep thick and rich hearty yellow hazy pour into teku glass. Looks like a beautiful glass or luxurious orange juice. All those hops come full frontal come to the nose - hoppiness, stone fruits like peach, plum and apricot plus fresh cut grassiness and you get a little malt to boot. A blast of juicy stone fruit and the great hop combo on the palate but balanced with sweet bread backgrounds like a cinnamon bun. Really solid offering that leaves you with a creamy mouth coating and very little bite considering the ABV.

On draught at the brewery 1/12/22

Modest Man has changed the beer game in my hometown. The NE IPA's are top notch and this is no different.

Citra/Nelson Sauvin hops

Notes:
Lush, silky mouthfeel, creamy but with an earthy, spicy kick. Stone fruits, pepper and grains, dried pineapple and spicy citrus, white wine in the hop notes.

This is a classic. RIP Lee Scratch Perry!

Many thanks to SawDog505 for this can!

Canned on date: ???

A - Pours an opaque medium yellow orange color with frothy, dense, bubbly lacing resting on top. The foam sticks to the sides of the glass like glue.

S - Dank white grape, some onion spice, peppery fruit rind, and spicy peach / apricot.

T - Some spicy grape rind, spicy peach, onion, garlic, spicy peach, slightly herbal (but not much). There's a slight bit of alcohol presence on the back side.

M - Dense and chewy with a pillowy texture on the tongue. Dry on the back of the tongue while the rest of the mouth waters.

O - Dank and spicy. This one is worth checking out and overall, have really been impressed with this brewery. Thanks, Tim!

16 oz can into a tulip glass.

Pours an opaque yellow gold color with a monstrous creamy white head. Good retention. Leaves a crown of lacing along the top of the glass. Great looking NEIPA.

Citra and Nelson is definitely a hop duo just waiting to get arrested for drug possession. The aroma is vegetal and dank, as expected. However, there's a significant amount of fresh peach notes, as well as white grape, cracked pepper, and overripe mango. Spicy and exceptionally herbal.

The flavor truly showcases the versatility of hops: Sweet peach candy, sweaty onions and garlic, chardonnay, orange juice, grapefruit rind, and fresh mango. That's a weird ass cocktail. But it works.

The body is nearly full-bodied with lower carbonation. Pillowy soft and creamy as hell witha dry finish. The alcohol is nicely hidden.

Overall, this is a great NEIPA and I'm so happy my home state has a brewery cranking out hoppy beers like this. This one is dank, fruity, and surprisingly drinkable for an 8.4% ABV.

Poured into a 16 oz Nordic pint glass canned on 8/2/21. Pours a very hazy milky yellow with a solid finger sticky white head that leaves a thin wall lace with excellent retention. 4.75

Aroma is buttery Chardonnay, peach, mandarin, apricot, and a little grapefruit rind.4.5

Taste follows immediately get white grapes, peach, mandarin, apricot, and white grapefruit. 4.5

Mouthfeel is bigger than average, soft gentle carbonation, maybe a little dry, and at 8.4% really easy drinking. 4.75

Overall this very unique and the Nelson was used wonderfully. I would say it will be difficult to forget this beer and it might not be for everyone, but I am a big fan. 4.5
