Canned yesterday (according to the associate who sold it to me) and poured into a tulip glass on 9/23/22. Hazy, pale orange juice coloration with wet white head and lacing. Lots of retention. Huge scents of pineapple, fresh cut grass, dank weed, sweet. Flavors of candided pineapple, a little bit of citrus pith, really smooth mouthfeel - not too chewy but not too watery either. A little lingering hops oil bitterness on the palate, but super balanced. This one hits the sweet spot. My first beer from Modestman and this is some next level stuff right here, on par with any of the other big names in the NEIPA scene. I’ll definitely be getting a variety of their other stuff next time I make a trip into Keene - if their other stuff is this good, then might be one of my next favorite breweries.

Another incredible offering from these folks...
Pillowy and soft yet remarkably juicy with a slight bite on the finish... orange pith... pineapple...
While I'm over the hazy craze, this is a stellar example of the style and extremely well done...
The Citra is pungent...loads of bitter orange peel...
Nice beer...

16 oz can.
Pours an opaque golden straw color with a 2 finger white head. Stubborn retention. Leaves some splotchy lacing.
Getting a lot of citrus on the nose: Lemon, tangerine, and ruby red grapefruit. Some pineapple and melon with a hint of vanilla.
Flavors of peach candy, pineapple, honeydew melon, and apricot with a bit of grapefruit, tangerine, and lemon drops. There's an underlying vanilla flavor throughout.
The feel is medium-full bodied with lower carbonation. Creamy, soft, and silky smooth. Ridiculous. Could easily be mistaken for a Tree House beer.
Modestman has definitely got the NEIPA style on lockdown. This one is exploding with fruity hop flavor and defies its 8.5% ABV with shocking drinkability. Best hoppy beers in New Hampshire.
