Strictly Business**updated review from Untapped....
Modestman Brewing LLC
IPA - Imperial / Double New England /...
And yet another dank ass NE style offering from Modest Man. Thick and rich hop complexity: dried mango chunks, dry, leafy earth bitterness, orange rind, grainy golden maltiness and smooth...oh, so smooth!...no creamy. Yeah, definitely creamy.

Canned 20 days ago based on FB post, glad to find this one fresh. Not much new to say at this point with their "big brother" NEDIPAs... assuming this one's little bro is Unfinished Business... they just knock the style out of the park at both 7% and 8.5% every time it seems, regardless of hop combo. All that matters is that it's fresh. Hopefully they'll start dating their cans at some point.

It's hard to stand out in today's world of hazy offerings...
Modestman has one here that does..
Incredibly juicy and yet somehow still manages to produce a slight bitterness which is both pleasant and welcome...
Tropical and melon flavor from the hops...
No booze....
Really really well done... peach, melon, white grape...
Tasty stuff here...

16oz undated can.
Pours cloudy yellow with a two inch head of dense white. Plenty of spongy lacing and persistent retention. Peach, pineapple, and papaya in the nose. Medium bodied with a soft mouthfeel. A bit thin. Juicy tropicals on the palate with minimal malt or bitterness. Mango, peach, pineapple, and tangerine. Finishes juicy and ripe.

Poured into a 16 oz Nordic pint glass, canned sometime last week. Pours a very attractive yellow orange with a 2 finger sticky off white head that leaves huge streaks of lace with excellent retention. 4.5
Aroma is papaya, white grapes, cantaloupe, mandarin, apricot, and just a hint of white grapefruit rind. 4.5
Taste follows white grapes start, cantaloupe, papaya, mandarin, apricot, and a little tickle of grapefruit in the bold lingering finish. 4.75
Mouthfeel is above average, soft gentle slightly creamy, maybe a hint of dryness from the Nelson, and at 8.5% extremely approachable. 4.75
Overall another killer NEDIPA from this very young brewery, Nelson fans will not be disappointed in this one. When done right, Nelson is such an amazing beer experience and this one certainly was. 4.5
