16 oz can.
Pours a hazy orange gold color with 2 fingers of soapy white head. Great head retention. Leaves a bit of splotchy lacing around the glass.
Very citrusy aroma: lots of orange, lemon zest and grapefruit. There's a bit of graham cracker malt as well as some pineapple and stone fruit. There's a hint of earthy pine and subtle dankness.
The flavor brings quite a bit of lemon, as well as orange juice and grapefruit rind. There's a bit of papaya, as well as pineapple, stone fruit, and sweet bready malt. Finishes with a rather assertive piney bitterness.
The feel is surprisingly lighter in body for Modestman. Still has that soft carbonation with a dry finish.
Overall, another great Modestman NEIPA. This one might be a bit more earthy and bitter than many of their other beers (reppin' that Cascade) but it's nicely balanced and quite drinkable.

Modestman still does not date their cans, so I usually go by FB postings to determine what's fresh. I don't think this is younger than 30 days, and will re-review if found known fresh. It looks, smells, and tastes pretty great, but kind of muted in comparison to others from this brewer I've been sampling lately.

Can from the Packie
Hazy lemon orange color with a thin white head that dissipates quickly. Bright lemony orange aroma with bits of sweet bready malt. Really bright citrus IPA

Cans directly from the brewery. Easily the best Brewery Keene, NH has ever had.
Tasting notes from the can:
Citra/Galaxy/Cascade hops
Bursting Citrus/Green Pineapple
Lemon custard/Black tea
Laid-back bitterness
My notes: 1/16/22
SILKY smooth mouthfeel in that dense haze. Pithy, earthy bitterness probably from the cascade mostly. Pithy stone fruits, tart pineapple and crunchy orange peel.
The Modest Man NE hazies are always top shelf offerings. This one stands out due to the traditional cascade hop leafy bitterness that stands out most.

16oz undated can.
Pours milky yellow with a short-lived head of white. Fairly pungent nose with unripe peach, white grapes, and dank weed. Medium bodied with a soft mouthfeel. Big pop of hops on the palate with grapefruit, hard peaches, and orange pith. Finishes juicy but dry with minimal malt and a fairly hefty bitterness.

From a 16oz can, undated. Purchased at the brewery 12/13/21. Served in an IPA glass.
Pours a milky-pale straw-gold with a finger or more of soft suds. Retention is good, leaving a thick, creamy cap and a solid curtain of foamy lacing.
Nose is earthy-pithy, aroma of bitter grapefruit, floral vanilla.
Taste is bitter, pithy grapefruit juice, first and foremost, then pineapple and tea, finishing with vaporous vanilla in the sinuses. There’s a sour citrus/boozy taste on the gulp but it’s totally pardonable and, besides, I shouldn’t be gulping.
Feel is crisp and clean, medium bodied but with bright, brisk carbonation making it feel even a smidge lighter.
Overall, an exceptionally nice NEIPA and right in my sweet spot at 7%. I had said that I wasn’t going to review any more Modestman IPA’s because IME the canning has been so inconsistent but this one is no-shit flawless, can-wise - hopefully they can do this all the time.
