16 oz can.
Pours a hazy pale gold color with a 2 finger sudsy white head. Excellent retention. Leaves a fair bit of splotchy lacing.
Aromas of peach, grapefruit, white grapes, and fresh mango juice. Has a very strong doughy pale malt backbone. Nice pepper spice character. Very earthy and grassy.
The flavor is very earthy. Lots of grassy notes and cracked pepper. There's some pineapple, white grapes and peach. The pale malt is exceptional with strong bread and wheat notes. Finishes with some piney hops.
The mouthfeel is medium bodied with low carbonation. Pillowy soft and creamy. Tree House-esque. Dry finish.
Overall, yet another great beer from Modestman. It's hoppy, yet exceptionally well-balanced and drinkable. These guys are making the best hoppy beers in New Hampshire. Easily.

Thick, hazy, pale golden. NE look with this APA.
Amazing fresh hop aroma! Leafy, zesty and lupilin sticky style. Peppery peach, and earthy mango smells good from the Citra/Nelson/Galaxy hops.
The Modest Man mouthfeel is the very best of any brewer I've ever had, especially in the New England hazy categories. This Pale Ale is no different. Wow, crisp and fresh and first with an absolutely silky smooth finish. Heady stuff.
Complex is the word for the flavor. First, the malt side....wow. bready...clean and bold Pale malts really make an impact, even with the explosive hops. The triad of hops is: earthy zest, deep dry, wheat and lupilin all over. A rather rustic, yet fresh hop-style flavor. Super clean. Amazingly drinkable at 5.6% but soo complex.
