Pours a cloudy orange with a solid finger sticky white head that leaves huge streaks of lace with excellent retention. 4.25
Aroma loaded with ripe cantaloupe, mandarin, passionfruit, a little dank, and apricot. 4
Taste is cantaloupe, mandarin, passionfruit, dank hops, and apricot. It was a little sweet the first sip or two, but it balanced out. 4.25
Mouthfeel is good size, especially for being cloudy not hazy, fairly soft carbonation, and it drinks close to the 10.8% that it is. 4.25
Overall I like it a good amount but these guys set my bench high all the time with with hazy DIPAs. I will try it a little again this weekend. 4.25

On the can: listed ad a TIPA (Triple IPA)
Citra and Mosiac Hops
Ripe Yuzu/Candied Tangerine/Tropical fruits/Wildflower honey/Subtle dankness/balanced bitterness/pillows mouthfeel.
My tasting notes: 2/18/22
Burnt gold and orange color, dense haze, thin white cap. Usually the foam or "head" is much more thick and sea foamy, I think the heft and booze aspect has thinned out the appearance.
The nose has some weird and interesting aspects: Boozy stone fruit, like starfruit and Tangerine soaked in Vodka. Apricot with tangy honey and sharp grasses.
The 10.8%abv really packs a punch, fermented wildflower honey, tangy citrus with boozy heat, sour wheat and grains for a malty balance that really holds it all down, eventhough the entire beast is a bit wild and unruly.
Now, usually the Modest Man mouthfeel is beyond amazing for the NE style, this is much thinner, still smooth-ish, but goes down boozy hot with a thinner, more normal DIPA style feel overall.
Overall, it's weird, hot, thin, strange, funny, a conundrum within itself, yet charming in a rather extreme way. I will admit, I'm not sure if I love it, or hate it. Perhaps one more, just to make things clear will help....(?!)
