Diving into a 16oz can (or 2) which I picked up at the Mt Uncanoonuk Beer Fest in Goffstown NH last Fall....

Into the sniftah she goes.... pours a lightly hazy, medium golden color. Has steady carbo below and a frothy, rocky, 1" layer of white foam above. The suds slowly recedes, with nice lacework left behind. Aroma is quite fruity, with tangerine, pineapple, melon and apricot present. It is a fairly smooth brew, with a medium-plus body.

Taste has some light, crackery malts followed by a healthy dose of fruit. Mixed together nicely are apricot, grapefruit, tangerine and honeydew. Has some lightly pithy, piney notes and a somewhat dry finish. A solid NEIPA/DIPA from Modestman. Prosit!!

16oz undated can.

Pours cloudy gold with two inches of rocky froth. Plenty of tattered lacing and persistent retention. Ripe tropicals in the nose with tangerine, pear, grapefruit. Medium bodied with a soft mouthfeel. Orange pulp, grapefruit zest, fruit cocktail syrup on the palate. Finishes very juicy with minimal malt or bitterness.

This one hits all the right notes from me - syrupy mouthfeel, nice hop oils on the palate. Just the right amount of bitterness. Lots of mango, stone fruit smoothy, a bit of pine. I'm a big fan of citra and I think there are some experimental hops in here too if I remember correctly. Beer #3 from Modestman and it's sealed the deal for me in terms of fav brewery in the new neighborhood. Definite hop bomb, but has a lot of nuanced. Glad I picked this one up - hope they convert it to a standard offering.

Revolutionary VOL. 2 Modestman Brewing LLC

IPA - Imperial / Double New England /...

Citrus heavy marshmallows with tangy earth spice in the nose. Thickly saturated orange spiced hop and Honeydew melon flavor. Sweet n' smooth taste and texture... To the max. Incredibly fresh and silky feel. Deep complexity all around. Yet another top shelf NE DIPA from MM.
