Copper colored and lightly hazy with an inch of creamy and densely packed tan head. Moderate lacing. I'm smelling tropical fruit and piney hops. I'm tasting tropical fruit including overripe pineapple, citrus, and mango. There's resinous and sticky hops in proportion with a dry mouthfeel. The ABV is well hidden on this one.

Cloudy, dark golden/orange color with a nice white head that holds on for a while. Very nice smell with hints of orange, pineapple and floral scents. Balanced, citrusy taste that has a hint of sweetness, with a mouth-coating, malty finish. Taste is very balanced and doesn't jump out at you. Overall a good beer that I enjoyed, but the taste didn't match the great look and smell.

A-Semi clear yellow orange, some carbonation and a one finger head that leaves nice lacing.

S-Pleasant citrus notes, tad bit of grass and earthy notes as well.

T-Starts with tropical and citrus notes, finish has some pine and grass. a nice bitterness as well.

M-Medium bodied, nice hop resins and velvety.

O-A decent double IPA, the alcohol is hidden well, one of the better offerings at the tap room when I went.

Pours a hazy amber color. One inch head of an off-white color. Great retention and great lacing. Smells of strong floral hops, citrus hops, sweet malt, resin, and alcohol. Fits the style of an American Double / Imperial IPA. Mouth feel is smooth and clean, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of strong floral hops, citrus hops, sweet malt, resin, and alcohol. Overall, simple, but good blend, feel, and appearance; a more subtle IIPA than usual, but still good.

Poured out a clear, golden amber color with a small, tan head of foam. It smelled of pine, sweet caramel and toffee. Sweet caramel malt with a piney hop bitterness.

Had this on tap at Schlafly Bottleworks in Maplewood, MO on 6/17/16. Pours a clear deep golden orange. Very smooth and strong hop taste. A very good quality IIPA. I like this one a little better than Urban Chestnut STLIPA. The tap list had it at 10%.
