Our American Brown Ale starts with a classic British brown recipe crafted with caramel and chocolate malts for sweetness and color. Then we fortify it with the bold flavor and aroma of American hops.
Like many of the progressive beer styles seen today, American Brown Ales developed out of the culture of home brewing in the United States. Often home brewers would begin with the traditional British brown ale recipe but replace the milder English hops with the more aromatic American varieties.

A quarter inch of biege foam rests on top of this copper brown beer with excellent clarity. I get caramel and biscuity amber malt in the aroma. I get caramel and amber malt and a nice bitterness from some very complimentary hops in the fade, but they are not present in the aroma. Mouth is pretty light but you get that nice tingle from the gentle hop fade. I've had this before and like how much it offers for a session able beer.
