Notes / Commercial Description:
The Merry Berry Ale uses three of our favorites: raspberry, blueberry and blackberry. Its deep-red color arises out of this medley of fruit. With grace notes of vanilla and a hint of lemon, the Merry Berry Ale captures the essence of a delicate French pastry. Always a cause to celebrate, this ale is sure to capture the palate and the eye.

A: The beer is relatively clear yellowish red in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a short white head that left a narrow collar around the edge of the glass after it died down.
S: Moderate aromas of blackberries, blueberries and vanilla are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell, having flavors of blueberries and vanilla along with notes of blackberries and a slight touch of sweetness.
M: It feels just about medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I found the combination of vanilla and subtle amount of sweetness in this beer to be rather enjoyable, which in some aspects could nearly classify as being a dessert beer.

Reddish amber hued with no discernible head. The aroma is of a fruit smoothie with raspberry, blackberries, and strawberries. I’m tasting mostly lightly tasting fruit like raspberries and blackberries. The mouth is muddled with spices and moderately carbonated.

Pinkish gold. Smells like mixed berries and vanilla, almost candy like but good. The same in the taste is nicely balanced by wheaty malt. Pretty sweet but not overwhelming. Good for a super fruity beer.

On tap. Poured a clear, golden orange color with a small, white head of foam. It smelled of raspberry, cream and caramel. Sweet raspberry with a tart bite.

From a twelve ounce bottle, this brew is clear and golden-amber. The head is white and thick. Nice aroma....vanilla and berry. Full taste...I get a lot of malt and berry flavor. Nice brew.
