Appearance:
Burnished umber toasted black with an appreciable, khaki noggin’ that’s a half finger tall. Retention is solid and it laces in a long, gauzy drape.
Feel:
Rich, full-bodied, and crackling with carbonation but it’s so creamy and dense, those lively bubbles barely chafe.
Bouquet & Taste:
Oven-roasted oats, baked in lots of vanilla extract and served with a glass of whole chocolate milk. This pleasant little breakfast appetizer is covered over by a thick quilt of dark malts. Traces of cocoa char in the endnotes.

Normal looking stout. Some residual head and lacing. Flat, mild roast aroma. Minimal vanilla and lactose palate. Moderate body and descent carbonation. An average beer all around. Nothing really stands out.

Pours black with a finger of khaki head. Head retention is moderate with no lacing left behind. Vanilla bean, lactose, with toasted and biscuit malts form a sweet, light aroma. Flavor profile is vanilla bean and lactose right up front - nice and sweet, and with a good balance. Reminiscent of vanilla bean ice cream. There is a backing of toasted and biscuit malts. Mouth feel is a little fizzy, with an otherwise creamy texture. Thickness is medium. Overall, a fun beer. The vanilla is good, with fair qualities all around.
Served in a 12oz snifter.

Deep brown in color with minimal light penetration. There's a a quarter inch of dense brown head on top. The aroma is pretty much lactose with a touch of dark malt. I'm tasting vanilla and lactose along with some dark malt. The mouth is creamy and a touch watery.

Pours a dark brown color. 1/3 inch head of an off-tan color. Great retention and great lacing. Smells of strong sweet malt, hint of roasted malt, hint of chocolate, hint of hop, and slight pale malt. Mouth feel is sharp and clean, with an average carbonation level. Fits the style of a Milk / Sweet Stout. Tastes of strong vanilla, sweet malt, slight roasted malt, slight chocolate, and a hint of hops. Overall, good appearance, decent aroma and body, good blend and feel. Oddly, the vanilla is lacking in aroma but strong in body and the sharpness is too noticeable.

Appearance – Dark opaque brown, small ring of foam head
Smell – Coffee, chocolate, hint of vanilla. A little weak.
Taste – Coffee & chocolate forward, vanilla finish, with hops mild.
Mouthfeel – Slight burn on tongue. Heavy coating in mouth, reminds me of a thin milk shake.
Overall – A smooth drinking stout. Good, but not outstanding. A limited release as part of the Stout Bout.
