Had this on tap at the biergarten & also bottled from the brewery off-license. It's a red-orange with off-white thin head & good lacing. The smell is oranges & cinnamons with note of roses. The taste is of plums and oranges. Spices come on later and there is a definite pepper finish. It's creamy, almost enough to make it seem nitro pressurized. It is very drinkable, very balanced and definitely worth the albeit modest cash outlay. Get beer, drink beer, repeat as desired!

Had this on tap and from bottles while in Mittenwald.

Pours a clear medium gold color with a good sized off-white head and decent retention. A fair amount of lacing on the glass. Very mild malty aroma. Medium mouthfeel with plenty of carbonation. Smooth, slight sweetness to start. Flavors of wheat, carmel, oranges. Slightly bitter mild hop finish. Overall very smooth and refreshing. Great drinkability.

Poured from bottle bought in Bavaria into pint glass. Almost no head despite quite a lively carbonation, smell nothing much, quite flavoursome, quaffable.

Poured from fridge temp. Pours a transparent golden color. Nose is really light, but has hints of pine, oak, and wood. The taste is much better than the nose. Lots of caramel, wood, vanilla, and figs. Mouthfeel is medium bodied and nice. Overall, great taste and not much on the nose.
