Cerveza de cuerpo y carbonatación media. Tiene una cabeza espumosa de dos dedos con buena retención. Aroma herbáceo y cítrico. En boca destaca mas el cítrico pero en una buena dosis.

Pours a cloudy orange color with a medium sized, stable head.

Smells of flowery citrus, together with a lighter note of oranges and caramel malts.

Has a light, refreshing body with well nuanced carbonation and a pleasantly bitter, balanced finish.

Tastes of an aqueous beginning, connecting with juicy lemon pulp, cake dough and a touch of toffee. Turns a little drier then with a slowly uprising toffee presence to it. Finishes with a prominent malt sweetness and a prickly lime note.

Well build, easy drinking with just enough hops on the tongue to convince as an old school pale.

Don’t pay a fortune for those craft beers from Germany. This one from a traditional Bavarian brewery does the job very well. Excellent APA. Easy to trink. Nicely hoppy with a lot of citrus for a reasonable price.

Pours a light amber, orange coloration with a a medium, fizzy head. Smells of faint biscuity malt, citrus hops , with a certain, grassy, grainy note. Taste follows the nose, with a very nice balance of floral, grassy, citrus hops: orange rind, tangerine, lime, complemented by biscuity malt and a light bitterness in the aftertaste. This is a very solid APA at a great price point. Their IPA is even better in my opinion, but this is still a very solid offering that represents great value for money.

Golden blonde, very clean. White foam, a bit scarce.
In the smell malt, biscuit notes, light citrus and some yellow peach in the back.
Biscuit malt in the taste again, tea notes, not too fresh. Some piney.
Drinkable, nothing exceptional.

Nice looking pale colour, pouring with a very decent head.
Pleasant flowery smell. Refreshing taste, dominated by a fruity/flowery aroma. Some more hops would have be nice, but still pleasant nevertheless.
Good for a hot summer day.

From Carrefour. In Teku glass. At dinndr, with rice soup + turkey steaks. Softly and pleasantly citrusy. Well carbonated, highly drinkable, clean, refreshing and very sessionable. Not mind blowing but good for summer

From the bottle, it pours a light amber color with a lovely, thick, head. Lacing. Citrus hops dominate the nose. Taste includes citrus and malt. Enjoyable!

Almost clear dark golden color with off-white head. Aroma is malty with a dried orange and slightly piney hoppy note in the background. Taste follows exactly with the sweet malt and the orange and pine hop notes and medium bitterness. Medium body and carbonation. Overall it's a decent, old school style american pale ale but it lacks some more aromatic hops.

Pale Ale, from Bavaria? No, this can't be. Bavaria has one of the most conservative beer cultures in the world, so at first I thought that I was ordering the standard Maisel's Weisse. Call it a mistake that worked. On-tap at Wursthaus, on to the beer:

A half-inch of rocky head sits above a copper orange liquid. Lacing is good. As this occurs, I smell a blend of British and American influences in this pale ale. Grassy, clean hops, mixed fruity esters, working together. Not only does it work in the aroma, but the taste works well too. A kiss of diacetyl leads off for this beer. Esters, a note of pine, caramel, and drying biscuit toward the end make this a fine half-liter. With its medium body, it would make a welcome alternative to the many helles and weissbier in the region.

Poured from a bottle into a pint glass.

L: Pours a clear dark golden color with two fingers of creamy white head.

S: Hops and malts on the nose. Citrus and evergreens.

T/F: Taste is maltier than expected from the nose with a good dose of citrusy hops on the back end. Clean like most German beers and crisp. Moderate carbonation.

O: A nice beer and a rare German take on the style.... also a nice change from all the lagers and dunkels on this trip. I'm definitely 'in like' with this beer.

L:
-pours a clear light amber with a big, frothy, white head
-high carbonation visible
S:
-very grassy,floral,lemons,slightly spicy
T:
-grapefruit,lemon,spicy
F:
medium-high carbonation,light-medium body
O:
Reminded me of the "Braufactum Palor"
Much better tasting,than the aroma.
I expected more considering the hops they used in this.
Considering the low (for german "Craft Beer") price,it's solid

330ml bottle, poured into La Chouffe tulip.

A: Golden, resembled apple juice, clear, small head, minimal lacing.

S: The citrus fruits took a backseat while a sugary vanilla aroma dominated.

T: Apple, lime, grapefruit, gummibear all provided a hint of sweetness which was balanced out by a long wheaty bitter finish.

M: Medium body, smoothed itself out after some initial prickly carbonation.

O: A balanced pale ale, refreshing, subtle and drinkable. Nice mid session cleanser.

Very solid APA, from a German brewery none the less!
Found this little gem while grabbing a schnitzel for lunch in Stuttgart at a local restaurant.
Served in a bottle. Nice light citrus taste. A lot like the APAs you can find back in the States.
Definitely worth a try, especially if you are in Germany and looking for a taste of home with the quality German beers are known for.
