Cerveza de cuerpo y carbonatación media. Tiene una cabeza espumosa de dos dedos con buena retención. Aroma herbáceo y cítrico. En boca destaca mas el cítrico pero en una buena dosis.

Golden blonde, very clean. White foam, a bit scarce.
In the smell malt, biscuit notes, light citrus and some yellow peach in the back.
Biscuit malt in the taste again, tea notes, not too fresh. Some piney.
Drinkable, nothing exceptional.

Poured from a bottle into a pint glass.
L: Pours a clear dark golden color with two fingers of creamy white head.
S: Hops and malts on the nose. Citrus and evergreens.
T/F: Taste is maltier than expected from the nose with a good dose of citrusy hops on the back end. Clean like most German beers and crisp. Moderate carbonation.
O: A nice beer and a rare German take on the style.... also a nice change from all the lagers and dunkels on this trip. I'm definitely 'in like' with this beer.

Pale Ale, from Bavaria? No, this can't be. Bavaria has one of the most conservative beer cultures in the world, so at first I thought that I was ordering the standard Maisel's Weisse. Call it a mistake that worked. On-tap at Wursthaus, on to the beer:
A half-inch of rocky head sits above a copper orange liquid. Lacing is good. As this occurs, I smell a blend of British and American influences in this pale ale. Grassy, clean hops, mixed fruity esters, working together. Not only does it work in the aroma, but the taste works well too. A kiss of diacetyl leads off for this beer. Esters, a note of pine, caramel, and drying biscuit toward the end make this a fine half-liter. With its medium body, it would make a welcome alternative to the many helles and weissbier in the region.

330ml bottle, poured into La Chouffe tulip.
A: Golden, resembled apple juice, clear, small head, minimal lacing.
S: The citrus fruits took a backseat while a sugary vanilla aroma dominated.
T: Apple, lime, grapefruit, gummibear all provided a hint of sweetness which was balanced out by a long wheaty bitter finish.
M: Medium body, smoothed itself out after some initial prickly carbonation.
O: A balanced pale ale, refreshing, subtle and drinkable. Nice mid session cleanser.

Almost clear dark golden color with off-white head. Aroma is malty with a dried orange and slightly piney hoppy note in the background. Taste follows exactly with the sweet malt and the orange and pine hop notes and medium bitterness. Medium body and carbonation. Overall it's a decent, old school style american pale ale but it lacks some more aromatic hops.

Solid APA, very balanced, refreshing and easily drinkable. Can def taste/smell the citrus notes in this and its just a good simple beer that's well done and enjoyable

Pours a cloudy orange color with a medium sized, stable head.
Smells of flowery citrus, together with a lighter note of oranges and caramel malts.
Has a light, refreshing body with well nuanced carbonation and a pleasantly bitter, balanced finish.
Tastes of an aqueous beginning, connecting with juicy lemon pulp, cake dough and a touch of toffee. Turns a little drier then with a slowly uprising toffee presence to it. Finishes with a prominent malt sweetness and a prickly lime note.
Well build, easy drinking with just enough hops on the tongue to convince as an old school pale.
