Poured from bottle, although 5.1 ABV. Chestnut brown, foamy white cap. Slight banana and cloves on nose, although not particularly potent. Slightly nutty taste though not a whole lot else. Slightly disappointing.

500ml bottle, 5.1% abv (Seems something changed there in the history of this beer).
Opening with sign of high carbonation.
Small bubly but very vivid. 2-3 finger creamy head. Off white. Not very pretty orange-brown colour with flakes of yeast sinking in.
Smell, Metalic, bit chlore. With a bit malt, choclate and burnt caramel.
Mouthfeel, realy amazing. Balanced Teasing the tongue with the carbonation, hints of sourt dough, beautiful bready with a a not too dominant and very pleasant bitter dark chocloate aftertaste.
Taste overal is a 4,5. Lower marks for looks and the overdose of yeast flakes.

Jan. 2013: 2 x 500 ml, probably from bottle, in the restaurant of Best Western Hotel des Nordens, Flensburg. Hazy brown colour, moderate off-white head. Nice aroma of banana and cloves, also notes of brown bread. Distinct Weissbier flavour of banana and cloves, medium sweet. The notes of brown malts are more subdued, but contribute to a full flavour profile. Low bitterness, as typical for the style. This is a very pleasant and drinkable Dunkelweizen.

0,5l bottle dated 10.06.23. While I’m not a fan of wheat beers and Hefe specifically, I enjoyed this brewery’s Original Weisse so I figured the darker version would be tasty. And I wasn’t wrong. Has all the qualities of a great beer of this style. Great roasted malt flavor and a bit of yeasty funk. Almost a bit sour and barny in the finish. Drinks crisp and clean. Would drink again.

Bottle at home, served in a weizen glass. Hazy dark brown colour, huge head that lasts all the while. Good lacing. Aroma of cloves, banana, citrics, some vanilla. MEdium body, thick texture, good carbonation. Sweet spicy finish. Taste of cloves, oranges, bananas. Very good.

De Hipdrcor. En copa Teku. Jugando a Queen's Quest 3. Dunkelweizen agradable, quizás algo falta de cuerpo y sabor para llegar a despuntar pero disfrutable, sin notas desagradables

.5 L bottle served in a lager glass. Best by date stamp of 20 June 2020 means I've found a fresh (for the US) bottle.
Pours with a clear, dark reddish-brown colored body topped by a creamy beige head that has excellent retention.
Aroma: banana, clove and other bright spices including a hint of cinnamon.
The flavor has some chocolate and better balance than expected from the style or the aroma. I haven't had this style for a while but I think this leans a bit towards the sweet side.
Excellent mouthfeel.
