First things first. This beer actually has a name - it's called Robustus 6. Also, it's brewed all year round. It is almost completely opaque dark brown and has an amazing head. It smells very strongly of coffee, with hints of chocolate and loads of malt. The taste, however, is very well-balanced. The malt coffee and chocolate flavour are not at all sweet because the hops take over during the finish. It has a slightly dry mouthfeel, with lots of creamy carbonation. Awesome beer.

-pours the darkest of brown with mahogany tinges and a medium to big, frothy, beige head
-coffee,licorice,chocolate,oats,toasty finish
-low to medium carbonation
-light, but creamy body
Good, but overpriced Porter

Dark semi-transparent brown against the light. A good head that settles with lots of lacing.

Smells of warm chocolate and concentrated black tea-tannins, malts, a little spicyness.

Tastes starts by following smell, but the hops come through very quickly, and perfectly counteract and balance the underlying sweetness. Finish is nice and dry with a hint of bitterness even.

Mouthfeel is a weak point -- carbonation is more noticeable in the finish and is a bit harsh and overpowering. Later it tastes flat.

Second time round: nice enough beer but not worth the craft beer prices (IIRC was between 4 & 5 euro)

Deep brown with a thick, light brown head. Smells like chocolate milk with soft, roasted coffee undertones. The sweet aroma doesn't translate to the taste, as the English hops are more pronounced than expected. Well-balanced, though a stronger roasted malt presence would fit nicely. Good carbonation and finishes dry, making it very quaffable. Overall, simple and pleasant, but better suited for six-packs and priced accordingly.
