According to the bartender/importer, this beer is over fermented.
The colour is orange-yellow; the liquid is very hazy. The two finger head leaves some lacing.
The smell is very fruity and a bit unclean (in a good way). Some bitterness and quite a lot of malts.
The taste is fruity: Green apples, celery, peanuts, and plums. Among the flavours, I noticed vinegar, salt, boracic acid, BBQ spice mix, dry malt The aftertaste is quite dry with some sour vinegar, honey, sweet almonds and a rather mild bitterness.
The carbonation is fresh and medium strong; the bubbles are large. The liquid is a little on the thin side.
I really like this style. But I would like to have even more of those complex unclean flavours!

Shared 500 ml bottle at local tasting, from Getränke Hoffmann, Harrislee. Hazy deep golden colour, large white head. Moderate aroma, some malts, some fruit, some dust. Smooth flavour, some malty sweetness, a hint of fruit, low bitterness.

Pours a clouded amber with a bigger, froth head.
Smells of wet leaves, subtle hay, crackers and a whiff of sweeter wheat.
Has a smooth, soft mouthfeel, with a late effervescence, adding in perfectly, lending a well fitting refreshment to the beer.
Tastes of a well developed yeast backbone, which manages to develop a recognizable, well integrated spiciness, with a light, peppery peak to it. Offers a mellow bread dough quality, gently wrapped up into dried herbs, producing an intriguing rustic impression, which remains easy enjoyable at the same time. Finishes light with a soft, yet well pronounced carbonation, revealing a slightly sweeter straw quality among maintaing herbs.
Excellent Kellerbier, which stays on the lighter side of things, while developing a great flavor profile.

On-tap at City Beer, New York, NY
A: The beer is clear dark red in color and has no visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high off white head that died down, leaving a wide collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of dark fruits are present in the nose along with notes of yeast.
T: The taste follows the smell, having flavors of yeast along with strong notes of dark fruits such as plums.
M: It feels medium-bodied and a little chewy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This kellerbier seems much fruitier compared to other beers in the style.
Serving type: on-tap

Had on tap. A fine kellerbier. Has plenty of spring floral, lemon and grassy notes with a cider like finish. Smell has fermented fruit in it as well. Feel is off however, to the point that it is distracting. Nice enough for a try though

On-tap @ Cafe Katja in New York, NY.
0.5 L pour into a tall, skinny Riegele glass. Hazy and cloudy with a deep orange-amber color. Creamy white head. Bready malt aroma with a distinct fruitiness to it. Fruit really comes out in the flavor but is difficult to describe. It's got some lemon citrus aspects to it with some apple possibly as well? Creamy and smooth in the finish.
I was expecting a pale kellerbier, but this was a nice surprise. Definitely contains some flavors that you don't traditionally find in a German lager. Made a great accompaniment to bratwurst with sauerkraut for lunch.

On tap at Rattle n Hum, NYC. Not sure where this is aimed. A bit spicy to be a real refresher & too light to get the 'chew' one expects w/the big boys. Aroma is a bit cider like, not that that's a bad thing. It's complicated, in a inexplicable way. In a word: muddled (IMO)

New label design, New recipe? This one clocks in at 5%.
Naturtrüb & infiltriert, so it is very hazy and looks like a Hefeweizen, except a darker orange. Smell is...'fresh.' Notes of green apples, but not unappealing, though the malts do seem to take a backseat to the yeast. A little spicy. Taste is sweet upfront and middle, finishing with only some slight bitterness. Medium carbonation and body. A well enough, quaffable German lager that would pair well with sunshine, which the northeast part of Germany so often lacks this time of year.

Bottle in Berlin. Good. beer but i find it a bit off style.
Look is great, a deep unpenetrable amber color with a big white head, no floating yeast at all.
Very good and rich smell, the peach is definitely there at any temperature, great.
Taste too sweat and malty but still very drinkable, lacks of morr bitternes imo. Medium Carbonation.

Half Liter pour at Rosamunde's in Williamsburg.
This hit the spot after crossing the bridge in intense heat and humidity. Light, refreshing and clean but with a sweet, caramelly, dark bread flavor. The unfiltered quality is obvious in the appearance, but also lends a real full quality to each sip without affecting the drinkability.
I loved it.
