De Labirratorium. En copa hefe de Bavaria. Estudiando. Muy buena, con un lúpulo herbal muy fresco que le da vidilla y una buena dosis de amargor. Nada que ver con la típica pils insulsa.

From the bottle, it pours a nice yellow with a vibrant white head that slowly dissipates. Lacing in the glass as you drink it. In the nose, it is bready with a bit of hops. In the mouth, it is malty with some pilsner bitterness. Nice!

Crystal clear darker straw/lighter gold color. Moderate head but it maintains a small portion of bubbles on the surface. Excellent 3D ring lace throughout the tasting.
The smell features the nice blend of grainy barley corn and lightly toasted pale malt. It takes me back to the beer gardens of Germany.
The grain is strongest in the taste with a mild sweetness. The hop, though, is powerful enough to provide a bitter and weedy bite to the finish. Simply put, one of the better German Pilsners.

Had on tap. By the smell, I didn't think this would be much, just very pedestrian with honey, malts and wheat. The taste however brings in a nice orange with the wheat, toffee with the malt, and a crisp floral finish. Very nice, especially at the end of a hot day

Clean and refreshing, with a crisp, hoppy finish. A fine example of a German Pilsner. Very balanced, with a slight, refined malt flavor, that doesn't overpower the crisp mouthfeel. Exactly what I want in a Pils.

Pours a crystal clear golden color with a huge, white head.
Smells of a great mix between hay, crackers, garden herbs and lemon zest among a note of wheat.
Drinks extremely refreshing with a light body and a very effervescent carbonation.
Tastes incredibly more hoppy than the nose indicated, this is straight forward a hop bomb. Has a crackery, soft, dough leaden middle part with a little straw cutting through. After that its again all about the hops, herbal, dry with a prominent lime punch, making this standing out in the best fashion. Finishes with a light toffee sweetness, providing just enough balance for the hop onslaught to unfold in a balanced, yet utmost dry and herbal fashion.
This may be the truest, greatest pils I have ever experienced. If more beers of this style were just as uncompromising as this one, Pils would definitely be a bigger thing in the beer geek scene. This is just perfection with a never experienced hoppiness, nowhere near an ipa, not coppery old world sweet either. This is simply flawless.

This beer is delicious. Very crisp Pils. Has just the right amount of hop bitterness to give it a slightly sharper quality than the Commerzienrat Privat. Very drinkable. Could definitely crush more than a few of these.
