Clear amber brew with long-lasting foam in the Faust Weizen glass. Inviting aroma of cereal. Pleasant sudsy mouthfeel. Taste is quite malty and mildly sweet. A little darker grainy flavor with the modest hoppy finish. Overall this is highly drinkable, though on the strong side for a quaff. It's very full of flavor and seems like an excellent example of more robust German beer. From the 500 ml bottle purchased on the West Coast. Best By date is 07/11/25, so it's been around awhile but still good.

Pale wheat color. Brief head typical of a lager. Smell and taste of white grape juice. Very mild. Simple and subtle. Again, like a lager in its lack of strong characteristics. Standard effervescence.
