Czech Garnet Lager - Subtle, yet satisfying. Translated as “half-dark”, this decoction brewed lager has a slight roast flavor from Vienna and chocolate malts.

Pours dark garnet-hues brown with three fingers of dense tan head that last a decent while and leave webbed lacing.
Delightful malty aroma not unlike a higher-quality Marzen: dark bread, caramel malt and carbon dioxide.
The taste is softer and breadier than I imagined — doughy almost, with lots of red malt character, some cocoa, maybe even a hint of cherry and a semi-crisp / semi -sweet finish.
Soft, almost chewy mouthfeel without being too thick bodied. Moderate carbonation.
Easy drinking yet complex and malty at the same time. Another excellent beer from these guys.

A- A clear brownish amber with a three finger off white head.
S- Toasted malts, some chocolate, earthy, touch of caramel malts.
T- Toasted malts, some caramel, bakers chocolate, earthy, hints of fruits.
M- Smooth, light to medium body.
O- A very nice and easy to drink lager, taste is more complex than the nose
