Hazy pale yellow with more than two fingers of slightly-yellowed head. Okay retention and nice soap bubble lacing.
Spicy, herbal hops in the nose with hints of pineapple, melon, citrus and green onion.
The taste follows fairly closely: spicy hops with pineapple the most dominant fruit flavor, joined by some honeydew and white peach iced tea. Just a kiss of green onion and grapefruit pith bitterness show in the finish, with the peppery herbs lingering in the aftertaste.
Creamy, almost sticky mouthfeel for the style with average carbonation.
A really well-crafted showcase for the El Dorado.
