Fun little place in warehouse district. Friendly staff and good flights.

used to be called crooked furrow, which makes a little more sense, the glassware still says that, but either way, this place is awesome, a highlight of the helena scene to be sure. its a humble place that kind of sits right where the road seems to end, maybe a little off the beaten path, but easy enough to get to, plenty of parking as well. its a small but airy space with a lot of afternoon light coming in, bright and sunny, a cozy and humble feel, but all real new looking, clean and attractive. lots of wood, nice high top tables, a view through to the brew house, and an impressive selection of beers. i had a neat lower alcohol barrel aged porter and loved it, and also enjoyed a light mexican lager that was quite well done. the quality was there on both of them, and they had some solid innovation on their beer menu too. they had a good mix, lots of hoppy stuff too. the service was very good, excited and kind and helpful, and it was immediately obvious to me that this place will be successful. the beer was way ahead of the curve, the vibe was great, and the locals were beaming in here. a killer spot, hands down the best beer i had while i was in town, and its a fun place to hang out at all. these guys will do well here i bet! highly recommended.
