It is a fact that Dan, our New Glarus Brewmaster, loves pumpkin pie. So it was inevitable that one day beer and pie would collide. No holiday is complete at our home without home baked pumpkin pie. Just as Dan once baked this pie for Deb, he now creates this brew for you.

First, Wisconsin grown wheat simmers with German Munich Malt. Then he thoroughly stirs in Idaho grown Celeia Hops. Fresh Bavarian Weizen yeast is then ladled into the open top fermentors and a final bottle conditioning makes this beer 100% naturally carbonated. This rich brown Weiss beer pours an elegant spicy nose with a thick creamy head. This Pumpkin Weiss is sure to satisfy your soul’s Pie Lust.

One of my favorites I wish I could get a hold of again. Bring it back! Like drinking Pumpkin Pie in the form of a beer...I love it!

The pumpkin flavor, thankfully, takes a backseat. On the nose, this beer is almost unreadable which in this case is actually a GOOD thing. I had no desire to pump my nose full of chai spice when I took a whiff of this beer, and I was pleasantly surprised to just find a nutty dark ale smell. The pumpkin flavor and spice doesn't hit you until the first sip, and it's really pretty respectful. Liked it more than I expected.

I'm trying this at my bro in law house. It poured a clear copper with thin white head that is not leaving any lace. The scent had hints of pumpkin and spice. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with subtle pumpkin and cinnamon notes. The mouthfeel is lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it's not too shabby for a pumpkin beer.

Pours a clear copper colour. Smelly like earthy pumpkin spices (nutmeg, cinnamon, clove) and earthy hops. Tastes medium-bodied, cereal malts, and the pumpkin pie spices (nutmeg, cinnamon, clove). Lingering spicy finish, quite dry, and less sweet than other pumpkin beers.
