Wisconsin, United States

Style: Fruit / Vegetable Beer

Alcohol by volume (ABV): 4.00%

Availability: Year-round

Notes / Commercial Description:
Treat yourself to a rare delight. The voluminous raspberry bouquet will greet you long before your lips touch your glass. Serve this Wisconsin framboise very cold in a champagne flute. Then hold your glass to a light and enjoy the jewel-like sparkle of a very special ale.
Oregon proudly shares their harvest of mouth watering berries, which we ferment spontaneously in large oak vats. Then we employ Wisconsin farmed wheat and year old Hallertau hops to round out this extravaganza of flavor.

Pours a brown reddish color with white head with touches of red in it. Head dissipated rapidly. Smell is great just like tart raspberries and candy. Whoa this is TART, what an excellent flavor of raspberries and even though it's tart it's sweet as well, with some dark oak flavors. Mouthfeel is like drinking champagne, very bubbly and the tart really hangs on.

Overall this beer is excellent, such a great quality beer everyone should try this.

This has always been one of my favorite beers. It is wonderful! It is always consistent. Lovely color, aroma and taste. When we go to the GABF, it is the first line we get in. We get our sample, and go right back to the end of the line and get another.
