First smell made me think this was going to be a very light tasting beer, with little to no great flavors. The color is honey golden, No head was present. Taste is sweet and a good surprise. Follow up tastes carried the fruity flavors.

This beer always pops up somewhere if your in wisconsin long enough. It's a good summer beer that always goes well with some food, maybe because that's how i've dranking it.

As a Wisconsinite who has had this beer more times than I can remember, take my first review as you like...

Pours a nice cloudy straw/golden color. Definitely not a strong smell--slightly of wheat and corn-- definitely not bad, just not strong. Small head (>1 inch) that leaves a bit of lacing. Light and creamy feel and wheaty taste. By no means a bad beer, but also not very memorable. One that is easy to sip on while watching a game but not one to brag about.

Pilsner-like look to it. Not much to the nose. Taste is very smooth, balanced and refreshing. There is also a unique crisp to it.
As a resident of Wisconsin, I think it's imperative to highlight this beer's place in the fabric of our state. This beer highlights the tremendous sense of place that Dan Carey always seem to brew with. A tremendous beer brewed by a tremendous brewery
