Moon Man pours a light gold with a nice fluffy white head. The aroma is in your face grapefruity, citrusy hops. Sweet pale malt hovers in the background. The flavor is light and slightly malty with plenty of hops that have a lemony character. The finish is dry and a bit bitter, but the bitter doesn't linger. This is a great, hoppy session type beer, I would drink it regularly if it was local.

Beer gotten from a trade with jegross2

A & S: fuzzy white head that pours at about. Hazy light orange colored beer. The smell is pretty good: tangerines, lemon, grassy hops, and some spicyness.

T & M: pretty fruity. Grassy and herbal hops. Not as complex in the taste as in the smell. Not really a malty background present. Fairly dry, semi bitter finish. Light bodied and a little on the coarse side.

O: I feel bad for hating on all of jegross2 beer so far. It’s an above average APA.

Poured from a 12 ounce bottle gotten via trade into a nonic pint glass.

A: A medium golden color with a bit of haze to it. A nice one finger white head leaves little lacing.

S: Citrus hops coupled with some floral notes and a very slight sweetness.

T: Citrus and fruity hops come out with grapefruit, lemon and pineapple. Some slight floral and herbal hoppiness couples with the nice sweet bready and biscuit malt. Finish turns bitter, crisp and clean. Real nice pale ale.

M: Medium as this beer is meant to be a drinker. Real crisp and clean but enough malt to give is some mouthfeel. No alcohol.

O: This is top notch pale ale made just the way I like them, crisp, clean and fruity. A very good beer that ranks up there with the best pale ales.

I'm so glad this was included in my trade as it is one of my favorite NG beers. A hell of a pale ale that (again) I wish I could get regularly.

Love to see this no coast let's give it a whirl. Popping the top I get a fresh citrus waft. Pours to a bright orange with a bright white head. On the taste this brew is a moon shot indeed. Super fresh citrus with a mild hop bite. The middle has nice malt backbone. This has to be the most refreshing pale ale I have ever dranken. Great job.

The beer pours a dark yellow color with a wispy cap of foam. Citrus and pine whack the nose. The hops continues to be the main theme on palate. Some malt notes counterbalance. The hops are aggressive and tasty, but a bit more interplay with the malt would be welcome. Overall, a good beer. Highly drinkable.
