Notes / Commercial Description:
Severe Drought, we shared the farmer’s horror as Wisconsin’s cherry crop failed! Dan bought what cherries he could. The Apple crop fared better. Then joy! A grand Wisconsin cranberry harvest. What will Dan brew with Apples, Cranberries and Cherries? Oh my! You hold the happy accident of Wisconsin’s favorite fruit aged in oak with an almost magical wild fermentation. Serendipity is a wondrous celebration that sparkles your senses and dances across your palate. A kaleidoscope of flavor discovered by accident in a sour ale!

Cheers to the unexpected.

Thanks to JBowenGeorgia for this one. 12oz bottle poured into 12oz tulip. Poured a lovely red color, that was clear and clean, and had about 1/8 inch of barely off-white head that quickly dissipated, and left no lace.

The aroma was a lovely blast of cherry and cranberry, with a hint of apple underneath. No real grain scent.

Very similar on the tongue, a vivid melding of fruit flavors.

The body was light, a bit sticky, and had a semi-sweet finish.

Drinkability was awesome, I could drink the hell out of these on the regular. Overall, another great brew from NG. A must-hit if you see it.

Quite a concoction, bursting with fruit flavors and sweetness. The cranberries add a needed counterpoint of tartness to what otherwise might have gotten out of hand. I don't think I'd call it a sour, whether "wild" or not. But it straddles the line between beer and cider, flavor-wise, and in a totally good way.

This beer is da bombz. Spend the cash to try this and it will like Trump, make your beer tasting experience great again.

Lightly effervescent, it imparts a slightly sweet undertone over a tempo of allegro sour notes. The refreshing coolness of the cherry chords offsets against the wooden intensity of the oak barrels.

A must try.

A: Dark Wheat pour with little head retention yet, lacing that lasts until the end of the bottle. Turns into a ruby magenta haze after second pour.
S: Apples, Sour Cherries, red fruit.
T: Apples, Cranberries, and a dry sour cherry finish.
Mf: Light and silky. Smooth ass finish. Deadly.
O: A fine ass ale. Legitimately better than your mom’s Apple pie. Not my moms tho but ya get it.

From a 750 ml waxed bottle (no date, but mine is a few years old) to a tulip.

A-The first pour from the bottle generates a fat finger of light-tan foam that fades slowly to a thick collar. The beer beneath is not terribly attractive, a murky, swampy tea brown color. The head leaves no lacing and there is no carbonation to be seen.

S-The advertised fruit flavors are very obvious here and quite sweet, i.e., sweet cherries, apples, and hints of cranberry. The acidity is lower than I would have expected for a beer with cranberries and I also sniff some plum. As my palate adjusts, I pick up notes of baking spices like cinnamon and clove.

T-The taste mostly tracks the smell. It is almost like drinking pie in a glass with large hits of fruity sweetness that coat the tongue. That same baking spice note comes through too. There is just a hint of green apple and cranberry tartness on the finish.

M-The carbonation is softer than average and fine on the palate. Heft is above average and the beer is a bit sticky.

O-Brace yourself for some residual sugar and fruit. Lots of fruit. I don't think I would drink this a lot, but it makes a great dessert.
