Notes / Commercial Description:
Severe Drought, we shared the farmer’s horror as Wisconsin’s cherry crop failed! Dan bought what cherries he could. The Apple crop fared better. Then joy! A grand Wisconsin cranberry harvest. What will Dan brew with Apples, Cranberries and Cherries? Oh my! You hold the happy accident of Wisconsin’s favorite fruit aged in oak with an almost magical wild fermentation. Serendipity is a wondrous celebration that sparkles your senses and dances across your palate. A kaleidoscope of flavor discovered by accident in a sour ale!

Cheers to the unexpected.

A: brownish with a slight red hue. Mocha head that dissipates quickly. Not what I was expecting at all.

S: ripe tart cranberries dominate, followed by apple. This smells incredible!

T: Follows the nose. Cranberries come on strong up front followed by a slight apple acidity. The cherries come on much more as it warms. Mild tartness which balances the sweetness well. A little more tartness would probably suit it well, but I'm not complaining. Delicious!

M: perfect amount of carbonation for the style. No complaints on mouthfeel.

O: this beer is fantastic. A little more tartness or a little less sweet and it would be near perfect. One of the best fruit beers I've had. Recommended.

Clear, see through amber color with thin light tan head. Beer is setting on the table about a foot away and I can smell apple cider, and a closer smell also reveals the cherries. One word, WOW!! This is so good! Flavors of the fruit blend so well together. Sweetness form the apples and a sour punch from the cherries and cranberries. Mouthfeel is light and carbonated with some puckering.

Overall, what a fabulous beer, this not my typical style but I will be drinking more of this. Everyone needs to try this gem.

This pours a ruddy rust-amber with thin foam. There’s an aroma of dark cherries, lot of sour cherry preserve and a black cherry note, with a touch of apple juice. Oh, and cranberries!

Tastes crisp and crisply tart, cherries and apples and the Great Lakes at the tail end of summer. Love love loved it.

Poured from the bottle, no date found, into my tulip glass...

A - Dark red, half finger head that dissipates quickly, no lace to be had

S - Green apples, cherries, cranberries, strawberries

T - Green apples, cherries, cranberries, strawberries

M - Medium to full feel, carbonation

O - This is an insane concoction that I am falling in love with. An absolute fruit medley bomb that goes together so well. New Glarus crushes these fruit ales and I am in love.
