Style: Fruit / Vegetable Beer

Alcohol by volume (ABV): 4.00%

Notes / Commercial Description:
Severe Drought, we shared the farmer’s horror as Wisconsin’s cherry crop failed! Dan bought what cherries he could. The Apple crop fared better. Then joy! A grand Wisconsin cranberry harvest. What will Dan brew with Apples, Cranberries and Cherries? Oh my! You hold the happy accident of Wisconsin’s favorite fruit aged in oak with an almost magical wild fermentation. Serendipity is a wondrous celebration that sparkles your senses and dances across your palate. A kaleidoscope of flavor discovered by accident in a sour ale!

Cheers to the unexpected.

This beer is really sweet and you need a sweet tooth for it. The first sip is really good and amazing. But a whole bottle for one person is a bit much. Almost was like a strong kool aid.

22 oz bottle. Pours clear ruby with creamy off-white/pink head. Aroma is apples, mixed berries, light vanilla, faint oak, and light malts. Flavor is fruit juice with subtle malt notes and faint barrel character. Medium body and carbonation.

Keeping with other New Glarus beers I've had, this tasted like pure juice. In this case I got mostly apple. I'm not huge into these types of beers, because they're just a touch too sweet for me, but this was still very solid, and the people at the bottle share I was at went ape$hit for it.

Thank you bstyle for this
750 ml bottle poured into a flute

A- A clear ruby red with a two finger tan head

S- Cranberries, apple cider, tart cherries, a very nice balance between the sweetness and tartness of the fruits, hints of cinnamon, oaky undertones.

T- Lots of cranberries, tart cherries, nice sweet/tart apple combo going on, hints of cinnamon and oak.

M- Smooth, light body.

O- Just as amazing as Raspberry Tart and Wisconsin Belgian Red, almost tastes like a Jolly Rancher. Very easy to drink. Fruits are well balanced and super tasty.
