Alcohol by volume (ABV): 4.00%

Notes / Commercial Description:
Severe Drought, we shared the farmer’s horror as Wisconsin’s cherry crop failed! Dan bought what cherries he could. The Apple crop fared better. Then joy! A grand Wisconsin cranberry harvest. What will Dan brew with Apples, Cranberries and Cherries? Oh my! You hold the happy accident of Wisconsin’s favorite fruit aged in oak with an almost magical wild fermentation. Serendipity is a wondrous celebration that sparkles your senses and dances across your palate. A kaleidoscope of flavor discovered by accident in a sour ale!

Cheers to the unexpected.

There's really no other fruit ale out there that comes close which makes this certainly unique (unless it's another new glarus fruit ale). Truly in a class of its own.

Wow!! That dark hue in the glass, the effervescence rising to the top of glass. Lovely bouquet of Apple, Cranberry & Cherry jam intermingle with a slight metallic tinge but oh it's tasty! This is much more of an aperitif than a straight out drinker for me, but it's quite enjoyable & I find myself wanting more....1 bottle is not enough!!

Look: Dark ruby red, so dark you can barely see light through it
Smell: smells akin to cran-apple juice. cherry is difficult to pick out in the aroma, the apples come through so strongly
Taste: the three fruits blend together amazingly to create an almost alcoholic fruit juice front, with a finish that reminds you that you are drinking a wild ale. Nice tart bite at the end of this fruit number
Feel: acidic and tart but leaves clean. relatively dry
