A - Opaque pink/red strawberry colored pour with a pink lacing ring that's creamy and bubbly.

S - Strawberry, rhubard, and creme. That's it.

T - Strawberry, creme, and rhubarb. Juicy and tart with a hint of sourness
.

M - Medium body with a wet finish.

O - If I want Tropicana fruit juice I'll go to the grocery store and buy some. No thanks.

If not for its sparkling character, this would look like pie filling in glass. It has a milky, goopy roasted red rhubarb look, almost burgundy purple, with a large, fizzy foam head that loudly dies to a webby film.

Smell jumps out straight at you of strawberry rhubarb jam with a little sparkling wine type character of white grape.

Taste is shockingly tart at first, as it tickles the corners of the throat, then mellows immediately to provide loads of strawberry rhubarb all sweet, bright and sparkly, brightened by lemon. There's a little bread and acidic sharpness in here as well, ending with a semi-dry finish for this crisp, smooth, and light to medium bodied top tier fruit beer.

Thumbprint 12 oz. bottle, released 2017. Thanks to EehaiCJ for the assist.
Deep dark red with a thin layer of foam and spotty lace. Nice color.
Smells like artificial strawberry candy, strawberry kool-aid, off brand strawberry jam.
Tastes very sweet, cloying strawberry candy in liquid form. Gross.
Sticky sweet, light to medium bodied with a slick artificial strawberry aftertaste.
Nowhere near the balanced sweet/tart/natural fruit of the original batch, 2017 is a complete bizarro version. Avoid.
Gave away the rest of the 4-pack. Tried it a 2nd time, and it still tasted like artificial strawberry candy, though there was a very mild rhubarb tartness present. Not really enough to redeem it.

This reminds me of stuff clueless underage kids might try to buy at the liquor store.
Worse than Four Loko or similar fruit flavored malternatives out there. Sad!

Split a bottle with family and it went over pretty well.
Reddish orange with a crimson highlight, lasting foam with arcs of sticky lace in the glass. Patchy skim on the surface after a few sips. Body has a bright clarity and the occasional stray rising bubble. Flecks of spotty lace in the glass.

Sweet strawberry in the nose, hints of light acid and mild funk, though fairly restrained.
Tart and creamy, big strawberry flavor with acidic tartness from the rhubarb. Light and spritzy, lingering fruitiness in the aftertaste. On par with the other fruit beers they make, about as tart as Serendipity, the strawberry taste is pretty assertive.

12 oz bottle. Smells like strawberry rhubarb pie, complete with baked crust, and a really good pie at that. The taste doesn't disappoint, instead living up to the promise of the aroma.
Excellent smooth body with perfect carbonation.
Overall: Super. A new favorite for me from New Glarus?

Look: A finger and a half of soft pink head, no visible lacing, bright fresh strawberry color, low amount of slow moving down-up bubble, very opaque.

Smell: Much as you would expect, it smells a remarkable amount like fresh strawberry and rhubarb jam. Maybe a touch of Special K with freeze dried strawberries.

Taste: Bright burst of strawberry jam (the fancy kind) and strawberry rhubarb muffin/sweet scone. The sweetness is very apparent, but balanced well by the acidity and VERY light suggestion of tartness.

Feel: Heavy end of medium bodied, oily mouthfeel, the finish is surprisingly delicate and leaves the tongue with a coat of sugar.

OA: It's not often I have a fruit beer and my first thought is 'decadent'. It's even rarer that the beer in question is reasonably priced and available in a 4 pack. I have an endless amount of affection for NG and this is probably my favorite non-R&D release they do (although Cranbic is up there as well). Just an utterly (pun intentional) phenomenal beer.

Smell: this is just straight strawberry jam with a little bit of musty oak and rhubarb tartness. I could smell the strawberry jam as soon as I opened the bottle.

Taste: right upfront your hit with this pleasent tart rhubarb flavor that melds together with the strawberry to give off this sweet and tart jammy flavor even giving off the impression you have strawberry seeds in your mouth. The beer finishes with some of that musty oak character and a pinch of cinnamon. That mix of strawberry jam and rhubarb tartness lingers in the aftertaste. The beer is a great mix of Tart and sweet with out either over taking the other.

Feel: Medium to full mouth feel. Awesome carbonation. Slightly Sticky with a semi dry finish.

Overall: there batting 1000 when it comes to there fruit beers. I challenge anyone to find a better brewery at making this style. Absolutely world class stuff!

Poured from 12 oz bottle into shaker pint glass.
A: Pours a jammy (it appears to have an absolute ton of sediment in it) red berry hue with 1/2 inch light tan head with good retention. Beautiful to behold.
S: Strawberry and rhubarb. Just as advertised, but also with perfect balance. Can start to smell this one from a couple feet away. Perfection.
T: Strawberry and rhubarb with just a hint of fizz. Not quite perfection, but very close.
M: Light body. Refreshing fruit sweetness. Lingers nicely on the palate too.
D: Wow! I'm starting to expect a lot from New Glarus when it comes to fruit beers...and yet this still surpassed my expectations. Phenomenal. Not sure why you wouldn't drink this every summer day.

Pours to a cloudy ruby red appearance with little to no head. Smells like straight up strawberry jam. Taste is just as sweet with plenty of strawberry wafting across my palate but no acidic kick to clean up the finish like you get from Belgian Red. Actually comes across somewhat cloying. Feel is medium to medium heavy with no carbonation. Lots of high scores for this one - your mileage may vary. One 4-pack is enough for me.
