The colour is yellow with a tint of gold, the liquid is almost clear. The white airy head is remarkably high, making it hard to pour the beer. It sinks slowly leaving lots of lacing on the glass.
The smell is bittersweet with fruity notes of apricot, pineapple and ripe banana. Hints of grapefruit and lemon curd.
The taste is quite bitter for an APA, at least in the first sips. It is quite dry with mixed exotic fruits and some clean alcohol.
Medium body. Some rubber in the aftertaste, smooth bitterness and some banana peel. The finish is short and clean
with fruit candy drops and lemon peel.
The carbonation is strong with lots of mid-sized sharp bubbles. The liquid is rather smooth.
Too light, I would have guessed that the alcohol was more like 3% than 5%. Otherwise, is it clean and dry.
