From the can (Brewedd in Laaber, canned in CT), it pours an ever so slightly hazy amber with a modest (for a weizen) head that stays thin but does leave lacing - disappointing canning operation). Classic weizen scent of bananas and bread. Taste is the same, but not enough hefe (yeast) to really call it a hefeweizen - naturtrueb would fit it better.

I had this on draft 7/25/23 @ the Hopleaft.
Mostly opaque orange appearance.
Nice bright white head; strong lacing remained.
Banana, caramel & faint clove notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Banana & mild caramel flavors up front; mild clove & spring water notes on the finish.
A well made Hefe. I'd have another!

It says hefeweizen on the can.
The beer is almost brown, darker than expected. Has a good aroma and a great head retention actually.
Mouth feel is a little thin for my liking. Needs more viscosity. Taste is average.
Overall, below average on my book. I can't quite get over the thinness and color.

Can from John’s poured into stein. Darker, less head than standard hefeweizen. Almost like a weizenbock. Solid and enjoyable but not transcendent.

Poured from a 16.9 oz. can. Has a muddy river color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of bananas, wheat. Taste is the same as the aroma, spices, light bubblegum notes are present. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a decent beer.

Clove, wheat, a little sourness on the nose; banana shows on the palate, and even more so on the finish. The (only medium) acidity is a little higher than I would like it to be.

Poured from 16oz can into my BeerAdvocate teku.
Appearance: rich amber-orange hue with no haze and a thick finger of frothy ivory foam. I mean, the head is nice, but it's a bit darker and clearer than I think of the style as being.
Smell: light wheaty aroma with the classic slightly spicy-phenolic hefeweizen aroma. More on the clove side than banana, though.
Taste: nice, wheaty, malty flavor. Not super huge on the banana end of things, but just enough yeasty spiciness to be a good hefeweizen. Quite good.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a big carbonation and a good creaminess. I like it.
Overall: well, from the looks of it, I would hardly guess a hefeweizen. Could be that things settled in transport and this can got the clear end of the batch? Hard to say, but the flavors are there!

Cloudy golden hue with a huge foam head.
Super head retention.
Earthy beer notes.
Clove notes and some roasty notes as well, clove isn't overwhelming tho.
Good carbonation, and clean light mouthfeel.
This here is working for me.

1 pint can (canned in Connecticut, brewed in Bavaria)
0.5L Hefeweizen Vase
Pour Temp: approx 45 degrees F
Look:
Opaque and cloudy dark copper, very much like Schneider Weisse Original or Ayinger Ur-Weisse.
2-3 finger off-white head that slowly decreases to a constant 1/4 inch covering. Nice lacing.
When held up to a light, I can see vague outlines of my fingers at the narrow part of the glass, but nothing through the wider parts.
Smell:
Quite sweet fruit. Ripe bananas with hints of tangerines. Some bready wheat. Has a sour or tart note. Allspice in the background. Very similar to what I have found in some American Hefeweizens.
Taste:
Sweet and fruity with hints of bubble gum. Bananas and pears. Wheat twang or snap. Cinnamon and cloves plus allspice are quite obvious. Finishes on a bit of a tart note. No detectable hops. Ending on the tart note is nice. Makes one want to take another sip.
Feel:
Smooth and silky mouthfeel with a body on the lighter side, which is interesting considering that the yeast is there.
Overall:
A nice and refreshing rendition of a Hefeweizen. Hits all the classic notes with some unique twists. I would definitely have again.
As mentioned above, and by other reviewers, Plank's Hefeweizen does bear some resemblance to Schneider Weisse Original. Also Ayinger Ur-Weisse. One of those is a Dunkelweizen and the other (Schneider Original/Tap 7) I think of as a Dunkelweizen.
I did do the 'Hefeweizen Swirl' to get the yeast into the glass. That was a bit interesting with a can. Can't say that I am a fan of putting Hefeweizens (or Kellerbiers or any unfiltered beer) in a can, but that seems to be the trend. Even Schneider and Weihenstephan are doing it.

Handsome dark amber brew, and clear rather than the usual cloudy. Plenty of foam in the Stella Artois goblet and a lush sudsy mouthfeel. Surprising big bananas and clove aroma and taste, but seems well balanced if that's possible in a Hefeweizen. Persistent nose of spice.
Long sweet taste is actually appealing, since there is so much spicy taste and it's somehow less cloying than so many of these over-yeasted things. Overall this is a less usual abut highly flavorful sort of Hefe. From the 16 oz can purchased in the Northwest. Not a 500 ml? Label says it's brewed in Germany but then "canned fresh in Connecticut." Photo of the shipping tank container so you get the idea.
