22 oz bottle was poured into a Hoegaarden 0.33L glas.
Appearance: A one finger white brown head was poured that reduced to a thin layer. It is an amber brown color with some vision of bubbles coming up through the glass. Nice nice frothy lacing down the glass as the beer was drank.
Smell: Bready and sweet oats, sweet raisins, brown sugar, a little nutty, and some roasted notes too.
Taste: I pick up more of the aromas when the beer was tasted. Definitely oatmeal raisin in there with a little cinnamon. You expect it to be sweet, but the oatmeal raisin flavor blends well with traditional brown ale characteristics. Tasty and delicious. Perfect fall beer.
Mouthfeel: Smooth, light to medium bodied, medium carbonation, and a little chewy.

On cask at the brewery.
2 fingers of foamy white head. Color is a cross between ruby red and chestnut brown.
Aroma is spot on. They really nailed the oatmeal raisin thing...not too strong smelling, nor faint.
Flavor follows the aroma perfectly. You easily get the oatmeal raisin cookie flavors prominently, but surprisingly it's not too sweet at all like I worried it might be. If anything the malt backbone was a little thin. However, for the month of July, I can appreciate its drinkability. If this was winter, I would want it a bit heavier.
Mouthfeel, again, is on the thinner side, but doesn't deter from the enjoyment.
Overall, the flavors intended are nailed at the right levels, but would have liked to get a bit more nuttiness perhaps. Easy to drink and not overly sweet. Went great with the pastrami sandwich.
