Served in an imperial pint at the brewpub.

Nothing like a new beer as an excuse to visit a brewpub after a while. Too long, really. This stuff pours a cloudy sunset rose topped by a half-finger of cream foam. The nose comprises sweet blackberry, light black grape, and a very light touch of flowers. The taste holds notes of slightly tart berries, mild barley, and some very light twinges of vanilla. This stuff proves that fruited wheats don't have to suck, as the flavors aren't fake, they aren't overpowering, and they aren't muddled; they're just good. The body is a light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a decidedly smooth feel. Overall, a very nice beer, one of the very few fruited wheats I've not only enjoyed, but ordered a second of. Nicely done, Onion crew.
