Draft: Poured clear amber color ale with a medium size foamy head with light retention. Aroma of lightly sweet caramelized sugar with subtle toffee notes is actually quite pleasant. Taste is also dominated by sweet caramelized sugar notes with some subtle toffee notes with a light cereal finish. Body is light with good carbonation. Definitely not the most complex example of the style but still enjoyable and super high drinkability.

This beer is retired no more! Bought as part of the 2015 X-Mas mixed pack (16 beers for $18 can ).
1. Almost the same color as the brown beer bottle it comes from. A very thin white collar and very few bubbles.
2.A faint smokey and sweet overtone.
3.Mostly malt, brown sugar, a bit if smoke and even cooked grapes. A Belgian Scotch Ale style. The 7% alcohol is well hidden and there is some carbonation in the mouth.
4.It is very easy to drink. No bitterness.Must be taken a bit warmer than fridge temp. The warmer the tastier!
5.A nice beer easy to drink but a bit lacking in character. I still prefer my brown Leffe.
