Obolon Premium is a lager beer which presents an extremely soft and rich taste. Aromatic hops in combination with a special ingredient-rice, provides this beer with a distinct flavor and a pleasant bitterness. Especially refreshing and effervescent beer with pronounced taste and palatable bitterness. This is one of the most popular beers due to its mild taste.

The beer poured a gold color with a frothy white head. The aroma was good. There was a bit of sweet malty aroma here. The taste was a bit unusual, but too bad. It was malty to the palate and finishes dry. The mouthfeel was fine; good carbonation. This is a low/med bodied beer. A good drinker.

Look it's mild and inoffensive and slightly sweet. It's actually surprisingly easy to drink. Pours light yellow gold, from a can with mild carbonation. Nothing of note on the nose. Sweet light malt, almost ricy like Bud. Light, crisp cheap lager feel. Glad I got one nonetheless.

Pours a clear yellow with fine head.
Smell is crackery with notes of corn snacks, citrus, knäckebröd and potato chips.
Taste is crisp and crackery with some spicy hints. Moderate bitterness and notes of corn snacks, knäckebröd and citrus.
Mouthfeel is medium, well carbonated.
Overall, a well made lager, easy to drink.

500 ml green bottle (new design), from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 5%. Clear golden colour, moderate white head. Sweetish aroma of pilsener malts, also some grassy and herbal hops. Fairly refreshing flavour, some malty sweetness but also moderate herbal hops. Not too bad.

In support of the Ukraine. Old world for sure... Rice adjunct I dont mind, makes for a very light body and slightly smooth finish. Buttery, malt and grains in the nose and upfront flavor. The finish is a slightly metallic bitter hoppiness.basic import.

500ml bottle poured into a Pilsner glass.
Golden and almost clear, the half inch white head recedes to a thin cap inside of a minute. Aroma is grainy malt and light floral hops. Tasting sweet and malty to open, toasted barley and some corn over floral hop flavor. The finish drys a little and some minor hop bitterness comes through. Light-medium in body with medium carbonation giving a quick finishing bite to an otherwise soft over crisp feel. It does have a bit of tongue coating astringency.
Overall an average brew that I could drink for a session but probably wouldn’t grab a second if I had a choice as it gets overly sweet and syrupy by the end of the glass.

Poured from a 500mL bottle into a pils glass
On the pour a half finger fine head forms then quickly recedes to a thin covering and ring around the rim. Body is lightly hazy, and golden yellow straw colored. Carbonation is medium.
Aroma right off the bat is a bit skunky, but the green bottle probably did this. Beyond that there is some citrus, herbal, as well as earthy hop notes. Not the cleanest fermentation note, but it feels more like a hybrid beer than a bad beer. Light malts are hiding in the back of the aroma but the hops and yeast cover it.
Flavor is surprisingly nice with a bitter floral note right away.the bright citrus and herbal hops start creeping in right after with a slight hefeweizen like yeast note. After all that, a big biscuity bready malt note hits and is quite nice.
Feel is surprisingly soft and drinkable with a medium carbonation bite. Despite the softness the beer isn't too filling. This is a pretty chuggable lager but also a nice sipper.
Overall the green bottle and importation shows with some pretty skunky hops, but if it was fresher this would be pretty damn good. Malty and hoppy without being bitter, sortof like a Ukrainian pilsner bit definitely Leaning toward the euro pale lager.

Skunked aroma. So much wrong in the flavors, just a mess of a beer. Well at at least I can say I’ve tried a beer from Ukraine.

Medium gold body; slight cloudiness; very active carbonation; thin yet dense and foamy white head. Fine cereal grain aroma; strong wheat presence; toasted grain. An interesting taste; grainy with a mild sourness; toasted wheat; mild hop bitterness. Medium body; slick and slightly syrupy; fair residual sugar presence; semi-dry overall.
This is a nice beer. It does not deliver anything unique per se. It comes across as a rustic lager.
Poured at 46.2 F; no bottling date noted on the label.
