look: 3.75 | smell: 3.5 | taste: 3.25 | feel: 3 | overall: 3.25

Look: It pours light gold with fairly decent clarity. The head is white and the head retention is low.

Smell: The first aromas that are noticeable are those of grass. There are also hints of fruit, specifically apple, and grainy sweetness. As it warms a bit, a toast aroma becomes noticeable.

Taste: The initial flavor is sweet from grain. There are also flavors of light apple and grass. As it warms, toast becomes noticeable as well. There is a noticeable hop bitterness to it that is in the low medium range.

Feel: It has a light body with a grainy sweet aftertaste.

Overall, this is a grainy sweet lager with light apple and noticeable hop bitterness.

Poured from a 500 ML bottle into a pint glass at the World of Beer in Pooler, GA. The appearance is a murky pale yellow color with a large white head. The aroma is grain and corn. The taste is skunky with a mostly grain flavor. A below average beer.

Obolon Premium has a thick, white head of foam, a somewhat hazy, golden, bubbly appearance, and heavy lacing left behind. The aroma is of rich, strong, sweet, barley malt and boiled rice, and the flavor is of that, with sharp, grassy hop bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium, and Obolon Premium finishes crisp, refreshing, and exceptionally delicious.

A Ukrainian beer, okay, let's go.
The look is straw yellow to cloudy orange, it depends upon the light, a moderate head which fades quickly but some of which sticks around as a collar. Good carbonation

The smell is grassy, lemony, and bready. Lots of sweet malts and bread.

The taste is grainy, lemony, grassy and malty. A little soapy and lots of sweet malts. The finish is slightly dry but also a little creamy and grainy. Overall I guess this is a pretty good lager.

Pale gold pour (SRM 4) with one finger of white head; good lace, cap, clarity and carbonation. Smells like a Stroh's. Tastes like wet cardboard; semi sweet cooked corn finish. Watery mouthfeel with not much else going on. Overall, rather disappointed with the taste.

Had this at my kid's soccer tournament hosted by the Ukrainian Nationals Soccer Club. Pretty average, but since it was hot out it did the trick.

Decent. Tastes of corn. A little too sweet. Not bad, but not great either

Poured from a 500ml (1.09 pint fl oz) bottle into a tulip glass.

Nice-looking bottle - Has a nose of a Heineken (only with more herbal, like freshly-cut grass); A taste like a Grolsch (but hoppier). Colour is a slightly dark golden and cloudy. Head is decent: small-medium size bubbles that don't stick around very long in the glass (unfortunately). A tad bitter on the finish, could be crispier, but I wouldn't call it flat either; And I could do without the off-putting bathwater aftertaste. Overall, it's not that bad a brew: As long as it's served cold, it's a doable lager from the Ukraine.

Straw color with faint haziness. The head collected decently, but deflation is inevitably swift.

Strong Euro malt nose with hay and grassy must, sweet grain, faint herbal notes, and a kiss of skunkiness.

A tad drier than the nose set me up for. Pilsner malt base with some yeasty flavors. Missing crispness. Pale steeped grain, herbal flavors in the outreaches of hop notes, and tentative bitterness. A little off-balanced.

Somewhat difficulty flat. The body is just there. Not enough bubbles to elevate the beer's potential.

Not great. A passable Euro lager.
