On tap at L'Unic (Aix-en-Provence), served in a 25 cl Cuvée des Trolls tulip. Pale hazy gold with a whispy head of white foam. Smell and taste of pale malt, orange citrus, tropical fruit, spicy yeast and raw sugar. Finishes relatively dry and clean, but with only slight bitterness. Medium mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Overall drinkable, but sugary fruit notes overtake more interesting aspects of a typical Belgian ale.

Bottle from Bert's
Hazy deep straw color with a huge frothy white head that persists. Spicy light pepper with sweet bread on the nose. Sweet malt pits of pepper and clove with a light ashy metallic to round it out. Decent beer, light flaws.

Yet another Belgian Pale Ale and you might want to try it. Very sweet and fruity aroma. I gathered it's pretty available in America, it's my almost everyday beer and that's because it's at a reasonable price in Belgium and Europe. The perfect beer for 'aperitif' and appetizers most definitely. If you happen to obtain a keg, I assure you'll throw a decent party.
