Beautiful copper ruby colour. Very clear, right head. Very impressed with the appearance. Smells like a strong chouffew with some extra caramel. Taste is the same, somewhat sweet, very low bitterness. Feel is smooth. Poured with a tight head that leaves lacing, vutbis otherwise not too fizzy

Blind-tasted except for the beer's name and brewery/country, zero reviews below read (yet!)...
L- Dark amber, pours slightly hazy with very minor sediment left in the bottle. 5mm cream coloured foam cap.
S- Seems surprisingly light, I just get something like hints of subtle 'alcoholic marmalade', but that could be waaay wrong.
T- Boom!! Man I must have bad congestion today (it's pollen season) to get such little smell from this impactful taste. I can still get a marmalade edge here. It's a combo of possible light bitter-orange, richness and a clear ABV% brush over the palate.
F- As^, rich + heavy/deep, tiny flashes of sour that won't put off those who aren't into sour styles at all. The whole balances very nicely. The ABV% is blindingly obvious on the palate but this is clearly high enough ABV% where no skill-level of brewing can hope to hide it.
O- One for seriously slow-sipping. Veeeery drinkable. A wolf in sheep's clothing that's got most of it's kit off and is down to it's immaculate lingerie.
Review/scoring all done, now the reveal, I get to read the bottle lables to see what I missed! ==> 12% Amber. 'Water drawn from beneath the brewery' - that's different.
330ml bottle BB: 11/02/2022 Euro 2.95 - quite a bargain for a beer of this quality/profile. Bought from BeerMania/Belgium as part of a large pick-your own consignment to London. #1876

25 cl bottle, under its alias "Scaldis", bought at Selfridge’s, London. Amber colour, large and fluffy lingering head. Vinous dry sherry-like aroma, elements of oak and leather too. Flavour is again sherry-like, medium dry (or medium sweet, if you like), loads and loads of oak, hints of German "Weinbrand", warming mouthfeel as expected from a 12% ABV beer, but the beer doesn’t feel inappropriately alcoholic. A substantial hoppy bitterness in the finish balances the sweetness nicely. Plays in the Premier League of beers, this one.

Color ámbar, con poco mas de un dedo de espuma de buena retención. Cerveza ligera, de carbonatación media y de aroma dulce. Es una cerveza con un final agridulce.

Bottle bought at Echarle Huevos, served at home in a trappist glass. Golden amber colour, medium head with medium retention. Good crying lace.Aroma of honey, pears, peaches, bananas, apricots, esters from fruits.Medium to full body, texture is reamy and fruity, with green apples finish. Carbonation is OK.Taste of green apples, bananas, pears, honey, apricot. Great but dangerous beer, very pleasant and hidden alcohol.
