500ml swingtop bottle acquired in the Weyermann "Fan Shop" after an English language tour. Cost was 2.50 euro plus a 2.50 euro "pfand" (deposit) which you get back when you return the bottle to the brewery. Reviewed live. Poured into a Kitzmann Weissbier glass.

A: Beautiful tan head of nice cream, good thickness, and great retention, especially considering the high ABV. Wow. Dark copper colour. Semitransparent.

Sm: Amber hops, caramelized malt, alcohol, a sort of buttery note that mixes with the caramel. Pleasant albeit strange.

T: Caramel and amber. Way too sugary - maybe released too early as a significant portion appears to be unfermented. No alcohol comes through because it's overridden by the sugar. Bleh. There's no room for the flavour because the damned balance is so off-kilter. Jaysus. No cream. A terrible upshot of sugary sweet crap on the finish. Poorly, awfully, wretchedly built for the style.

Mf: Sort of buttery in a wretchedly awful way (as good as that sounds!), smooth, and wet.

Dr: High ABV, craptacular taste, and very low drinkability. Avoid avoid avoid avoid avoid. For feck's sake, lads: this one is a stinker.
