Labeled as a pale german weizenbock. Served in a weizen glass.
A: Cloudy and hazy burnt orange coloring shows a turbid nature while being capped off by a thin off white hat. Very light carbonation presence as well light lacing.
S: The nose had indications of cloves and bananas. Moderate in strength, but a bit more pronounced then some of their other beers. I cant confirm but it seems they really strip and clean (filter) their beers after the bright tank taking out a lot of the flavors and aroma with it, but this one held up rather well retaining a decent level or aromatic strength and distinguishing quality.
T: Nice Belgian yeastiness rings through, strong banana and cloves make their mark here. Good pronunciation of flavor yeast wise, and some breadiness.
M: Crisp bright carbonation factor brings this to light in the mouthful. Light creaminess leaving a light alcohol warmth behind.
O: Overall a good presence of Belgian yeast, and a well hidden alcohol gives this reason to try especially if you’re a fan of style.
