From Iron Hill: "This Belgian Double Witbier is brewed with unmalted wheat, oats, and a special variety of hops from New Zealand called Nelson Sauvin which adds notes of white grapes to the fruit and spice character of the yeast."

Pours a hazed golden straw color, moderate cap of bubbly off white head, decent sticky lacing. Scent leads with firm hoppiness, tropical fruits and rind, floral, under ripened grape must, black pepper, light tartness from the wheat. Taste was definitely unique and strong, taste blends rinds and pulp of tropical fruit, fermenting grape must - all under ripe, strong black peppercorn, quite pungent overall, covers up the tart wheat and bready yeast unless your looking for it. After half of my glass, i still wasn't sure if i liked it or not, a unique flavor that took a little while to get used to, and if the beer itself wasn't my thing, it definitely made me more interested in this hop.
