This review is during Covid restrictions in winter within the City of Philadelphia. Very few restaurants are offering Indoor dining even though its allowed now, and Bad Brother is one of the few. This location used to be Brigid's and I haven't been here in 10 years. The bar was closed obviously and we sat upstairs. The music was great.
I think they have a good beer selection, because they have a wide variety of styles. Mostly in cans but fresh cans. They have 5 taps the night we went. They specialize in sours but they also have IPAs, Pale Ales, NEIPA, DIPA, Stouts, Saison, quite a few Lagers and Ciders. Also they have a few featured cocktails and 3 types of wine. We tried 4 different beers in cans.
The service was outstanding.
The cheese plate was awesome with raw honey, pear preserves, apples, 3 types of cheese, candied nuts and bowl of crostini. Perfect starter or snack. The salad had sweet potato, ricotta cheese and seeds. Sausage roll was like a huge cheese steak with crumbled chorizo, poblano and queso. The burger was also good.
