Tartar rouge "American wild red ale" 6.0% on tap at the brewpub in Healdsburg.

Deep amber with a decent head but minimal lacing.

Aroma. Floral and tart sour ale.

Moderately complex and tart; not significantly bitter. Very fruity with ripe soft fruits.

Feel: Medium body. Low but adequate carbonation.

O: quote nice and recommended, but not up with the Russian River Supplication from earlier today.

SOUR. Tasty barrel notes peaking through, a little musty, a little woody, but then the acidity and sourness take the reigns again. It'll satisfy the sour lover, but the acidicty get a touch rough by the end of the glass.
