I had this beer as part of a flight of samples at the Healdsburg, California restaurant. From tap and in 3oz sample glasses.
A-hazy yellow body, nice white head
S-clove and veggie scent
T-clove with some fruitiness
M-dry, light
D-The smell was not very appetizing but the flavor character was quite good. Tricky style to make well and this one is just okay.

RBSG09 on tap at the brewpub. Pours milky gold with a fluffy white head. Aromas of bananas and cloves with a citric tinge. Flavors of orange, lemon, banana, clove, and yeast. Creamy mouthfeel and easy to drink. Pretty typical but not bad for an American hefe.

Appears a hazy, transparent gold with hearty streams of CO2 pumping up to the paper white head of foam. The cap slowly fades out into a chunky collar. Tons of large CO2 streams rise to the top.
Smell is of lemon, orange, crisp wheat, and honeydew melon, along with mild banana.
Taste is of sweet citrus up front with notes of banana, light pepper, & clove that's very clean.
Mouthfeel is dry, light bodied, clean, citrusy, refreshing with medium levels of CO2 and a very nice balance.

Tap@Bear Republic brewpub. Yeasty banana, lemon and clove, some menthol to finish off. Tangy, and refreshing. One of the better wheats from a Californian brewpub i had on my journey, pleasnt, easy drinking, innofensive. It wasn't bad, but Bear Republic brew some much better beers.
