From the bottle, and just before it's "Best by" date, it pours a clear golden amber with a really nice head that lasts and leaves lacing as you enjoy it. Scent of bready malt for the most part. In the mouth, it is a nice solid malt flavor overall, with the lightest touch of hops to make it interesting. Nice!

500ml bottle, best before february 2013
A- Light orange colour, perfectly transparent. Big, white, fluffly white head, nice persistence and lacing
S- Fresh herbal notes, but still more on the sweet side with bready and caramel notes, plus some kind of a soapy feel backfront. Also a slight spicy hint
T- Sweet as the smell suggested, bready notes, maybe some honey, not as crisp as you would expect from a german lager, but instead again with that soapy feel that was in the aroma, not unpleasant but kind of feels like it was watered down. It wasn't super fresh so maybe it was supposed to have a bit more of a hop bite. A light herbal/grassy finish is still present, but it does not bring that much freshness
M- Medium body, maybe a bit on the light side for the ABV, not much carbonation either. Uninteresting, goes down easy
O- This was overall still pleasant and easily drinkable, but quite uninteresting and mediocre. Fresh it would be probably better
