8/28....pours clear copper with heavy white foam. Spicy pine nose, grapefruit peel too. Sharp bitter, pine and grapefruit, lighter malt body. Spicy. Heavy residual bitter. Nicely made.

Filled a growler with this fine Finger Lakes brew at the Finger Lakes Beverage Center recently. Drank it with friends at Jalapeños Mexican Grill in Dryden, where it went real well with tacos, guacamole, nachos, beans, rice, burritos. Never had a chance to pour into a glass, but in white plastic cups it looked like SRM 11 or so, and kept a persistent, decent head for a long time. At the FLBC, we tasted two other IPAs in comparison, and especially liked the very fruity aroma and complex grapefruit floral pungent bitterness in this one.

Fruit forward, subtle florals, and just enough matly sweetness to balance the bitterness. Very aromatic. A big fruit bomb!
