Had on tap at Flossmoor.

A- Pours a hazed golden orange color. One finger white head shows medium retention. Light streaks of lace on the sides of the glass.

S- Toffee and caramel malts in the front lead to a nice almost biscuit like front end. Light earthy euro hops bring a clean balance aroma to this beer. The alcohol is light in the ending. Quite a nice smelling simple beer!

T- A hint of what to me tastes like darker fruit comes right off the beer but dies rather quickly into a semi-sweet toffee and caramel malt blend. The middle of the beer drys out a little which leads up to the ending. Toffee malts die down lending to a more caramel bready malt that underlies a noble hops like bitterness. The alcohol comes through ending with a light sweetness.

M- Medium mouthfeel. Carbonation is light for the style but works well with the beer. Toffee and caramel malts with a light hop bitterness left on the palate. Aftertaste is sweet alcohol, bitter hops, and sweet malts. Flavors were balanced I thought quite well for the style. No off flavors were present in the beer itself. Medium alcohol drying left on the palate with each sip.

O- This was a good drinking beer. Nothing over the top about it. A little sweet at times but not in a sickly manner. I really thought this wasn't going to be anything much but it surprised me!

(Served in an American pint glass)

A- This beer pours a slightly hazy orange body with a thin white film of head that is sticky and a gentle carbonation gliding up to the surface.

S- The soft Noble hop aroma has some green notes but is pretty clean. There is a caramel malt sweetness that grows as the beer warms.

T- The light fruity note blends into a toasted malt not with a hint of caramel to follow. There is a green hop note in the finish that has a slight sweetness to it.

M- This beer has a medium mouthfeel with no alcohol heat.

O- This beer is pretty clean and lagered with some good malt flavor that is just a bit sweet and supports the hops nicely.
